I have 2018 CTS-V. A friend of mine has a 2019 Corvette ZO6 with essentially the same engine. He said I should install a AFM/DFM disabler to prevent 4 cylinders to shut down to save fuel. Research shows that when the 4 cylinders are shut down, unburnt fuel (and some oil) seep into them and create gunk. Also, the shut down and re-start of the 4 cylinders isn't good for the engine. He installed an OBDCAR disabler which he claims should work with my car. Any suggestions?
